NHS QIS SURVEY OF INTENSIVE PSYCHIATRIC CARE UNITS (IPCU'S) – SERVICE PROFILE REPORTS

The local reports from the NHS QIS Survey of IPCUs are now available on the NHS QIS website.

NHS QIS undertook an exercies to profile IPCU provision in Scotland in summer 2009. Each territorial NHS board completed a service profile form which asked questions about how mental health services are structured locally and how people access IPCU care. Teams of stakeholders including clinical staff, carer representatices and NHS QIS support staff held follow-up meetings with each NHS board.

These local reports are based on the information gathered from the service profile forms and the follow-up meetings.
