Welcome to the NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS) Mental Health website.
This site is the central point for information on all NHS QIS mental health projects and contains useful resources and updates on our work. Our projects are listed on the left-hand side. You will also find links to pieces of work across the wider mental health community in Scotland in order to share good practice and resources.
In 2005, NHS QIS published 'Improving the quality of mental health services in Scotland: A strategic work programme 2005-2008'
NHS QIS is working on the new Integrated Mental Health Improvement Programme (IMHIP) for 2010-2013 and we will ensure this has links to current national improvement priorities. Many of our projects are already underway - please see the project summaries on the left-hand side.
Visit our Mental Health ICP Toolkit for more information on the development of integrated care pathways and PIRAMHIDS for our multi-disciplinary database of positive and innovative practice in mental health.
